IFER has an exciting new development to announce: a residential education center for our offerings of courses on flower essences and the other vibrational essences we carry, located on the delightful Isle of Gigha in the Inner Hebridies.

Achamore House is the large old baronial mansion of the island, where IFER's Managing Director (Don Dennis) has now taken up residence.  What makes Achamore House a spectacular setting for flower essence seminars is the setting: the house is surrounded by 50 acres of magnificent gardens created largely by Sir James Horlick between 1944 and 1972 to showcase his passion for rhododendrons.  With thousands of trees protecting the gardens from sea winds, and the Gulf Stream making Gigha the warmest place in Scotland, Achamore Gardens are a fabulous backdrop for reflecting on the exquisite energies and qualities of flower essences.

Plans are being put in motion for the construction of an orchid greenhouse to add to the delight of visitors and workshop attendees.

Gigha (pronounced "ghee-ah") is a beautiful island all of 6 miles in length, and 1.5 miles wide located just 3 miles off the mainland coast of Kintyre. Frequent daily ferry services make it easy to reach Gigha, 3 hours drive from Glasgow.

The courses that will be on offer from IFER on Gigha will chiefly be between 4 days and 7 days duration, to enable the extra effort of travel to be all the more rewarding, with seminar teachers able to explore their topics with greater depth.
